security in Your Home For Your Holiday Hound

Goodness how time flies. It does not seem possible that the holidays are nearly here once again. With the holidays arrives family, friends, food, decorations and of policy gifts! What verily got me reasoning about the impending holidays was the notion of dragging my tree upstairs, putting it up and the reality that we have a new "puppy toddler" in our home.

Consider, My babies are well into their teens and our third youngster, Rodeo - a Very spoiled Border Collie, will be four years old on Christmas Day and the cat is just about ten. So for a great many years, we have not had to think about "kiddie/dog proofing" the household.

Baby Girls Bottoms

However, a few weeks ago, we adopted a new family member from a saving shelter. Her name is Maddie and she is a Border Collie Mix and is about one year old. She's the most angelic miniature girl but like any saving pup, she has some "issues". We are working with her to give her the much needed training she has been denied but many days the puppy in her just gets the good of her. Lol

Honestly, I can just visualize her attacking the Christmas tree as if she's a lineman who has a direct shot at the quarterback for the winning play! Believe me when I say there isn't anything this dog can't chew up or destroy if she sets her mind to it. To her credit, she is responding beautifully to her training and learning speedily to what is and isn't permitted. She's a verily great dog who has already stolen my heart.

After the Christmas tree horror in my head, I started reasoning of the loads of other possible dangers that I need to be finding at as I set my home up this year and I want to share them with you.

For starters, it's not going to be beneficial to leave packages nearby the lowest of the tree for them to access. For one thing, the wrappings and bows can be a choking hazard but you must also look at what might be inside the gifts. Your dog could possibly eat it, drink it, destroy it or Lord only knows what else! So either find a stand to set the gifts on or plainly keep them up in the closet till time to unwrap them.

As well as the Christmas tree, you had good also think about the plants that are often used for decorating in our homes during the holidays. I know each year we receive at least one Poinsettia as a gift and those can verily upset your dog's stomach. The same goes for holly leaves, berries and mistletoe but mistletoe can verily cause their heart to collapse. Therefore plants should be left up on the counter tops or tables where your dog cannot reach them.

Don't forget about small things like batteries for toys, tape, string, staples and what I refer to as all of the "smelly good stuff". What am I talking about? You know how they sell plug-ins, scented beads, scented candles, scented everything, just keep it up and out of reach.

The other class of small things is decorative. Items such as tinsel, ornaments, hooks for ornaments, candy from the tree, bulbs from the lights, electrical cords and ornamental strings of beads. Altogether these can be ultimate choking and or sharp cutting hazards. They can also cause a bowel obstruction in your dog which would necessitate surgery to remove.

If you are like we are, you pretty much bring your dog(s) with you if you tour for any continued period of time. I mean they are part of the family. Even so, Christmas time can just be nuts with so many new habitancy and loud toys that they can verily make your dog uncomfortable and exceedingly anxious.

In some circumstances it may be advisable to look at either leaving them at home or placing them in a cut off room where it would be calm and less hectic. You would not want to put your dog in the position where they felt threatened and unintentionally nipped somebody out of fear. It's just a unfavorable situation all of the way around.

In closing, it's particularly crucial to try to stick to your dog's habit as much as possible. Try to make sure they have their food and water as you would normally serve it. Avoid giving them any scraps or unusual foods off of the table. These are prime targets for stomach upset and diarrhea. If you ordinarily put them to bed or out to potty at confident times, keep that habit going. If it's hectic set a timer on your watch or cell phone to remind yourself. This will help prevent any accidents. It will also keep them less agitated to have a familiar routine.

Last but verily not least, Make confident that your dog has a good potential collar on that has Current identification information. I would make the advice that you think investing in an embroidered collar with their name and a phone number. I personally use my cell phone amount on my dog's collars. That way if they would get loose and I'm out finding for them, if person calls, they will be calling my cell phone. Don't forget to add their tags from the vet and any registration tags and that way you know there is perfect contact information.

Most important, just make confident you both savor and enjoy the holidays. Remember to spend potential time with your dog during the holidays and don't forget their gifts!

The holidays are all about family, friends, fun and food - but occasionally it's easy to forget about holiday safety for your dog. We all want our dogs to be part of the celebration, but there are some leading guidelines to follow. Keep your dog safe this holiday season - no one wants their holiday celebration to wind up at the veterinary crisis clinic!

Interview: Duval Love

Duval Love is a previous obnoxious Lineman who graduated from Ucla and played 11 years in the Nfl for the Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals and made the Pro Bowl. I was honored when he agreed to meet with me to answer some questions for the website.

Who did you idolize in the Nfl while growing up?

Baby Girls Bottoms

Well, I was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and a Minnesota Vikings fan. It's kind of funny that I wasn't in effect a Rams fan. I liked the Cowboys because the obnoxious line would do that itsybitsy pause and go up, so I was immediately attracted to that. I was a huge fan of Harvey Martin, Too Tall Jones, Randy White, and Pat Donovan and those types of guys. I all the time liked linemen. One of my beloved players was on the Miami Dolphins, Dwight Stevenson. He all the time kind of catered to the linemen. Growing up, I all the time watched the linemen and as I was getting older I wanted to see if I was reaching 6'2 or 6'3. One day, if I got that tall, I'd be able to play in the pros.

From High School to College to Professional, who was the one person who had the biggest impact on your life?

I'll tell you the biggest impact is my dad. There's no doubt about it. To see where he came from and the way he works and what he taught me is amazing. He didn't go to school, just had a sixth grade education from the south. I'm the only child and my dad's been there every step of the way, good or bad. I've got to take my hat off to him. My parents have been married 45 years and they've been real supportive straight through the good times, bad times, getting into the pros, the Pro Bowl and being indicted. I mean they've all the time been there. I have great parents and my dad's all the time been there. He's been like my big brother and a dad. He's never let me down. He's my role model.

A 10th round draft pick makes it. How often did you remind your teammates of this?

First of all, when I got drafted in the tenth round, I was devastated. Everybody was like, "Oh you got drafted!" and I felt like, "Tenth round. Woo. Let's take off the zero and make it a one." But you know, after you look back, I was fortunate adequate to get drafted but I had my work cut out for me. It seems like in my life I have to do things the hard way. Nothing comes easy. I don't have that luck of things just dropping in my lap. I all the time have to do things the hard way.

They had four Pro Bowlers on the line and three adequate back ups. My chances where slim-to-none and slim had just walked out. I lay on the bed that night looking at the roster and I thought, there is no way...I was in the gutter. Then I went to camp and I worked my butt off. Hudson Houck was my line coach. He's one of the best line coaches in the Nfl. He's the Miami Dolphins line coach now. He had recruited me to go to Usc as line coach so we had some history together. He drafted me in the tenth round. I worked hard. I got cussed out every day and I made the team. I was shocked and dismayed but I made the team.

To back up, when I went to Ram Park there was a guy named Ray San Jose. Ray stood out in the parking lot and as you got out of your car he'd call you over and say the head coach wants to talk to you. That meant you were gone. You were cut. And so I remember that final cut, getting out of my car, Ray standing there, bless his heart. I was thinking, "Man if he calls me over there, it's over." I took one step, two steps. He looked at me, I'm looking at him. I took a step closer. "Are you gonna call my name or what?" He gave me the old thumbs up. "You made it."

I walked in the locker room with my chest high and I then saw my lockers because the lockers for rookies were put in the middle. You get these itsybitsy fake lockers in the middle of the locker room and when they take them down, that meant you were out of there. So I named those lockers "Death Row" because one by one, they were picking you off and you were gone. And mine had a itsybitsy piece of tape that said Love 67. Then I saw my locker was right next to Jackie Slater with my name on for real and then I knew I was there to stay. I stayed there seven years.

So then you went on to Pittsburgh where you made your first Pro Bowl?

Yeah, I played 7 years for L.A. 1985 to 1991 and then I went Plan B free agency to Pittsburgh. It was Bill Cowher's first year. Chuck Knoll had retired and Bill Cowher got the job. (Former Defensive Coordinator for Kansas City) entertaining story is you never know who's looking at you. When I was with the Rams, we played Kansas City in Germany and we were over there for a week. Coach Cowher was the Defensive Coordinator and he had noticed me because we were scrimmaging ever day. Over there in Germany, some guys, no wives, no girlfriends, we were drinking a lot. I was still single. A lot of guys didn't custom because they were hung over and every day I came out and practiced. Swinging away, fighting, no matter what I did the night before. I came out and I was hustling because I knew I needed to make the team and I wasn't as obtain so I had to go out and bust my butt. And Coach Cowher noticed me and said, "Who's that guy with the fight?" Every day he comes up with his lunch pail and he's working his butt off and he noticed me."

So my name came up on Plan B when he became the head coach of Pittsburgh and he said, "I want that guy on my team." I was the first guy he signed as the head coach of the Steelers. So the story is you never know who's watching you. If I decided to take a combine days off because I was too drunk or had 3 or 4 girls the night before, you know. But I came out swinging away every practice, no matter how many beers I was pounding in Berlin because that's what I love, football. I made an impression on him. I had a great 3 years there. I went all pro.

What one occasion do you remember the most from the Pro Bowl?
The one occasion was that our center made it, Dermontti Dawson. I called him up and he was two doors down from me. I said, "Hey, what are you gonna wear?" And he said, "What do you mean?" and I said, "I don't know what to wear." He said, "Man, we're in Hawaii, put on your flip flops and wear shorts and your tank top and go down there," and he hung up on me. I was nervous. Dan Marino, John Elway, Emmitt Smith - all of these great players and now I was one of them. It was kind of hard to dream myself as one of them sitting in the same room, we're all Pro Bowlers. It was my first one so I was excited.

So I went down there...I was nervous and I couldn't talk. I felt like I was tripping over the carpet. I sat down and I said, "Be still." I was shaking and all the great players came in and I was one of them. I mean hell, you know. It was a great moment. I finally made it. All that hard work had paid off. You know working out 3 times a day, running at 9 o'clock at night, paying the price, all of the things I needed to do. I'd run at 9 o'clock at night when I lived in Laguna Niguel. I'd work out at 6 o'clock in the morning then at noon and after my son went to bed I went out and start running at 9 o'clock, 6 or 7 miles every night. I was in great shape. A lot of nights I didn't want to run but I was determined because I wanted to be the best. I'd be running and sometimes I'd be crying because I'd be so mad at myself, I'd be like "I don't want to do this." I'd start acting like a big baby and I was crying thinking, "There is nobody else running this time of night. I'm the only player in the Nfl that's running this time of night up a hill that's paying the price. I'm paying the price." I'd visualize myself. "I'm gonna be in Hawaii. I am gonna be in Hawaii." And I'd just visualize that when I'd run up those hills I'd think, "This is why I'm running, because I want to be in Hawaii. I want Pro Bowl by my name."

Being a Ucla graduate, what is your idea on either kids these days should stay in college or be allowed to take the money and enter the Nfl early? In particular, the Maurice Clarett situation that happened.
I think Maurice made some mistakes, obviously. He probably should have stayed in school. Now his prestige is ruined and he's not as good a football players as people might think. For a while, they idea he was a in effect good running back and all a sudden now, his stock has in effect dropped. He might not even get drafted. It's hard to say. When you've got that type of money out there it's hard to say no. Especially for some of these guys that don't come from a lot of money. You just have to make the right choice. Of course you need your education. You can all the time come back. But if you're good adequate and you're able to go in the first round, and you have or million sitting there when you sign your name, it's hard to say no. I don't think anyone can answer that quiz, unless you're put in that situation. You have to make a wise choice.

Steroid use has been the big negative issue surrounding Major League Baseball over the last year. As a professional athlete, what's your idea on this issue?

Obviously Steroids are illegal and you shouldn't use them. Obviously some players have and I think it's obvious. You can tell who the players that have used them are. Some guys use them to enhance their performance so they can play longer. They might not have the God given capability to play so they need to do all they can to make sure they are able to compete with other people. Especially if you're a young player behind a guy who's, for example, is hitting 45 home runs and you know he's on steroids and you're sitting there hitting 10 home runs and you're going to be in the minors. It's a tough call. You want Everybody to be on a level playing field. Steroids are bad and can't be a part of the game. They just cannot and I think the long term effect you'll see are guys dying at an early age. You can't in effect run from it.

What's your beloved Nfl team now?

My beloved team? That's a good question. in effect I like the Steelers because I played for them. I used to cheer for the guys I knew but as I'm getting older, all the guys are retiring pretty much. I'm just a football fan in general so I cheer for them all.

Favorite Coach? Bill Cowher still?

Yes, because he coached me. I all the time wish him well. You know, I like to see the Steelers do well. 15 and 1 last year. It's hard to have a season like that and then you lose in the playoffs. You do all things right, you know you're 15 and 1. It's a tough pill to swallow.

After football, what's your beloved sport to watch?

I love basketball. I'm a huge Lakers fan. Shaquille O'Neal fan. I'm a itsybitsy disappointed he got traded. Unfortunately, he and Kobe could not get along. It just disappoints me as a Lakers fan that the two egos could not put that behind them and just play basketball. They had a great thing going on. It's a horrible season. It's hard for me to watch them. I know Jerry Buss will turn that thing around because I don't think he likes to lose.

After leaving the Nfl, you like many others, have had your share of problems. What would you have done differently while in the Nfl to put in order you for life afterward?

I kind of did all things right, it's just after I left I made all the wrong moves. House paid for, money in the bank, cars paid for, I was ok. I just made the wrong decision trying to go into company with distinct people and trusting them to run the company and not know what they were doing. Assuming they could make me money, believing the false dreams and production the mistake of listening to them. If I could do it all over again, I wish I could have just took one year off, lost weight, got my knees operated on and started my coaching profession. I wish I would have done that. My wife had told me to do that but, I decided to listen to myself and go into company and I made a crucial mistake. It's Ok. I'm going to rebound from it. It's like being on the lowest of a pool...you go all the way down and you just have to bounce up and get back to the top.

I'm sure the media has gotten their facts crossed from time to time. If you could address just on one item, what would it be?

I'm sure that there's a lot of things out there that people have said and I haven't in effect heard yet. What they say behind my back, I don't know. As far as me giving the money to the guy, I made the crucial mistake of trusting him. He lied to me and I gave him the money and he did other things with it. I got in problem because of that company deal. You know, I trusted one of these people who lived in my community. I was naïve and made poor judgment in trusting these guys and now I know better.

As a young adult, you set your goal to play in the Nfl. Fast transmit 10 years . . . What goal have you set for yourself now?

I'd like to be an assistant coach in the Nfl and that's my goal. Just to be a coach to help the young kids who come up the ranks and help them not make mistakes like I made and just be happy.

In conclusion, for fans out there that followed you from the Rams to the Steelers, watched you in the Pro Bowl, is there anyone you want to say to the fans about how you're doing right now?

You know, it's been tough. I'm a survivor. A weaker man probably would have done distinct things but I know I'm stronger than that. So I just stay positive. No matter what happens I know it's gonna get better. Just know Duval Love is a fighter who will rise to the top again.

Organizing For A Baby

Babies need a lot of things. Well, let me make a correction... We are led to believe that babies need a lot of things. When I look at pictures of me as a baby, all I ever see is a crib, a doorway baby jumper, a tricycle, one doll, and lots of cardboard boxes. Today we need bouncers, bunting bags, carriers, diaper bags, strollers, car seats, baby gates, pacifiers, walkers, toys, and more toys, and more toys. Quite a distinction in needs. And then you have to fit all of this into your home!

So even though I didn't have any babies of my own, I grew up with babies all colse to me. I always found something to amuse children. At the very minimum, I would open my lowest drawer in the kitchen, which is my tupperware drawer, throw in a few spatulas and plastic ladles, and it abruptly it became a toy box to some visiting baby.

Baby Girls Bottoms

If they were older, I would rustle up a catalogue, scissors, paper, crayons, and some shoe boxes. I showed some little girls how I made my own cutouts dolls and glue them to cardboard. Then with paper and crayons I would institute and trace clothes for them with the little tabs to bend. My baby sister and I would even make houses out of shoe boxes and chocolate bar boxes attached together. We cut open the sides to make doors, made stairs to an upper level, made furniture out of cardboard, and even decorated the walls with pictures from magazines and catalogues. This entertained us for months.

Another nifty idea that will keep children busy for hours is play dough. Start by getting them to help you make it. Make at least 4 batches each a l dissimilar colour, then give them rolling pins, cookie cutters and whatever that would make involving designs in the dough. Here is my recipe:

Play Dough
In a pot mix: 1 c. Flour
1/4 c. Salt
2 Tb. Cream Of Tartar
Combine & Add: 1 c. Water
1 Tb Oil
Food Colouring - 1/2 to 2 tsp. Start with 1/2 tsp, After added to the flour, add as desired

Cook over medium until it forms into a ball. Stir while cooking. You will think it is not going to work, but don't worry, it comes together. Once it has formed into a ball, turn onto a lightly floured surface.
Knead till smooth.

It is so soft and fun for children to play with. Totally safe if they eat it, just very salty, but nothing harmful

If I were to bring a baby home today, the thing that came to my mind is how much a new parent no ifs ands or buts has to reorganize their life to make space for baby. Otherwise, you will have all those baby items lying all over the place. The first thing you need to do is start development a home for everything, because every performance needs a station or a landing place, all things needs a home. Once you do that, those things will be suitable for you to use but not in the middle of your room so that you tripping on them.

Since I have a small home, I would likely turn the front hall closet into storehouse for the items I would use daily like walkers, strollers and toys.

My sewing room/office would get turned into a nursery. The first thing I would do is add storehouse in the closet. Just one clothes rod for little clothes is a total waste of space. If you can't have a carpenter practice make shelves, bins and drawers, just add purchased shelves, bins or a dresser in your closet. There are even rods to hang onto the existing clothes rod to turn it into a double rod.

Naturally I would have a crib, and dresser that would supply a place for changing the baby, and a chair or rocker for nursing. whatever your needs are, just remember you need to make a place for them, and that likely means sacrificing something else, and probably some shuffling and purging.

I saw some great diaper bags at our carport sale this weekend. They do not even look like diaper bags.... No pictures of soothers and baby bottles on them, and they had great storehouse for all your needs either you are heading out colse to town or on a longer trip. Here is a suggested check list for you diaper bag:

Changing Pad Baby Wipes Travel Kleenex Hand sanitizer Diapers (estimate 1 per hour for how many to take) Diaper Rash Cream Baby Bottles, Baby Food and snacks 2 Pacifiers (in case you drop 1) 1-2 Changes of Clothing Ziplock Baggies for soiled clothing and diapers Hat Bib Receiving Blankets and Burping Cloth Baby First Aid (children's tylenol, teething gel, something for upset stomach, syringe for stuffy noses, bandaids) Toy and a favourite book Bottle of water Camera Mommy Pouch for your essential things

The most leading thing a baby needs is love from his or her parents. Actually, Ken always says the most gift a father can give to his son or daughter is to love his or her mother. Love is essential for the welfare of babies. A newborn is totally dependent on its mother. It must be well fed, kept clean and warm. But corporal needs are not enough, emotional needs are just as important. Research has confirmed this fact that babies come to be sick and even die if deprived of love which is expressed through talking and touching, stroking and cuddling.

I remember reading a true story, and I wish I could find the resource to present it accurately, but I will do my best by memory. It was noticed that in this orphanage how all of the babies cried or were sick, except for the baby that happened to be in the last crib. It baffled the staff, they couldn't shape this out. No matter which baby was in the last crib, that baby fared better. Ultimately they set up a camera 24/7 to observe. They made this discovery. The janitor came and and did her cleaning, but when she was done, she sat down at the end of the room and picked up the baby in the last crib. She cuddled and sang to it, and she did this every night. The baby in the last crib was always salutary and happy. Babies need to be touched and loved.

I remember my mom just development a crooning sound to babies as she rocked them if they were sick. I learned from her a neat trick for colicky babies. You rock them by holding them face down, it gives them relief in their tummy. You hold them with their head resting on the inside of your elbow, your hands hold their tummy, and their legs straddle your other arm. I hope you can get the picture. They always fell asleep in my arms.

My mom raised 7 children all the while running a farm, store and post office. We always had babies around, babies of our family, babies of friends or neighbours, babies I was babysitting, or babies & children that were retrieved from abusive homes. We were an emergency home for children until they could be located into the system. I always wanted 12 babies, but it is ironic how I never had any children of my own.

One thing mom never did was tip-toe colse to when we were sleeping. We were all sound sleepers. As a matter of fact, the hum of the washing engine and vacuum plus mom's steps were so comforting to me that it helped me to fall asleep. I knew all things was in operate in the house and I felt procure and loved. I was such as sound sleeper that I have to tell you a brief story.

This happened one time when we had a house full of company, so I gave up my room and was sleeping in a cubicle under the stairs which happens to be right next to the kitchen. We had a gas dryer in the kitchen, and there must have been a leak, because in the middle of the night it exploded. Totally blew out the doors and windows. The whole house was up cleaning up the mess and sweeping up the glass. This was such a huge explosion, every person had a hard time getting to sleep after that. In the morning when I got up, I looked colse to and asked what kind of wild party went on here last night. That is when they realized I slept through the whole thing! I was "closest" to the kitchen. It is my notice that happy salutary babies sleep sounder.

Having children is one of the most joys in life, but it can also be challenging. Life revolves colse to children and totally changes your connection with your mate, and totally changes the charisma of your home. The added pressure of a new baby can be relieved by being well organized. As in all things, balance is required, you don't want the pendulum to swing the other way. So as organized as I like to be, when a new baby is in the house, sometimes you just have to let go... For time with your baby or some much needed sleep.

Baby Girls Bottoms

Why is it that many of our dreams do not come true? In my mind there are two major reasons for this situation. The first guess might be that we skipped some vital steps in what I call the creative cycle. The second guess might be that we did not have the patience for the creative cycle to bear its fruit. So what do I mean by the creative cycle? We see the creative cycle at work in the seasons of nature: spring, summer, late summer, autumn and winter. Each and every creative process on earth have to go through these five phases of creation to bear fruit. Let us now look at each of these five phases in order for us to turn our dreams into reality.

Step 1: generate a vision!

Every new creative cycle in our lives start from a distinct "nothingness" or "winter". This is the time where millions of sperms (read ideas) are swimming upstream to meet the ovum in the darkness of the womb. This first step is driven by our deepest yearning to generate something new. The great trick in step one is to find our most yearning. You need to ask yourself two leading questions. Firstly, "What exactly do I want to generate in my life?" and secondly "Why do I want to generate that in my life?" You need to be very clear about the "what?" and the "why?" of your vision.

Many of our dreams does not come true because either we were not clear on what we want to generate or we did not have a real desire to generate it in the first place. You unquestionably have to dig deep on this first step. What do I want to create? Why do I want to generate it? finally you need to find your own passion. Without a passion to generate you will never perceive your dreams.

How do you know that you have a passion to generate something? You must become aware of the levels of power that you Feel in your body when you think about something that you want to create. If you feel a surge of power when you think about a specific dream you want to generate you can be pretty sure that you are onto your passion. On the other hand if you think about an idea to generate something and your Feel a drain of power it is a sure sign that you are finding down the wrong alley. Your passion will give you facile energy. If you have to make yourself do something that something is by all means; of course not your passion. Stop dead in your tracks and ask yourself: "What is it that I unquestionably want to generate and why?" Then monitor your Feelings and keep at it till your feel an facile surge of power to generate that dream.

Use a pen and paper to seek your passion. Use pictures cut from magazines. generate a collage. You need to put your vision into words and pictures. For example: I want to generate my own company from home. Secondly, write down the why. For example: Because I want to make adequate money to travel the world. Then ask the why question again: Why do I want to make adequate money to travel the world? Why? Because I want to see the world! Why? Because I want to broaden my mind? Why? Because I want to grow in my vision of myself and the world! Why? Because I want to make a variation in the world! Why? Because I want to bring peace and insight in the world? Why? Because I want to leave a patrimony of peace to the children of the world! Keep asking why until you get to the very lowest of your own motivation. Tap into your deepest urge to create. It is that power and only that power that will finally give you the drive to stay with your dreams until they turn into a reality.

If you fail to find your deepest creative urge you will run the risk of quitting before you perceive your dream. Take the time and ask yourself: "What do you want to create?" and "Why do you want to generate it?". If you found the reply to these to questions then you are at the point of conception. The magical occasion when out of trillions of sperms that one and only one sperm meets the ovum. Celebrate the occasion in writing and in pictures. Make a large collage about the dream you want to create. Then go on to the next phase.

Step 2: generate a plan to fulfill your vision!

The next part in the creative cycle is the time when your vision starts to grow. It gets a brain, organs, hands and feet. We can correlate this stage with the growth of the fetus in the womb. We can't "see" the supervene of our dream in the physical world yet, but we can "feel" it becoming more keen by the day. This is the part were we start to plan for our vision. Our vision might be to own a business. It might be to shed a few pounds. It might be to go on a once in a lifetime vacation. Anything it is the big question in this part of the creative cycle is: "How?" The leading question is: "How am I going to turn my vision into a reality?" It is the planning and research stage of the creative cycle. After the "what?" and "why?" of the first phase we need to ask "how?" in the second phase of the creative cycle. And when we have answered the "how?" question we need to flesh out your plans even additional by asking "when?". Again you need to write down your intentions. I am going to start my own company on the internet (vision) by promoting affiliate programs on the internet (how) within the next two years (when).

Your vision is taking shape. It becomes a plan. But it is still a bit vague therefore we need to bring it more and more into a sharper focus. I am going to earn 00 a month from my own internet company (concrete vision) by promoting five of the best affiliate programs on the internet with a blog (how) two years from today (when).

It is kind of like in the movies. First the camera shows you the big picture. The idyllic scene in the middle of the Amazon with gorgeous green trees and a fabulous waterfall. Then the camera begins to zoom in and you start to see a consolidate in the distance. You can't see what they are doing at first, but as the camera draw nearer you see that they are kissing each other. You see that the girl is blond and that she wears a blue dress. The camera zooms in even more and you see a small drop of blood on her cheek and so on and so on. You get the picture. As you become more and more detailed in your plans you move nearer and nearer to the present time where you go over into the next phase of the creative cycle. All the time remember that your point of power is in the present moment. The next cycle is all about our present moment.

Step 3: Back up your plan with huge action!

You can dream as much as you like, but if you do not take activity Nothing is going to materialize. I know that is obvious, but conspiratorially all of us wish we could skip this phase of the creative cycle. We wish we could snap our fingers and our bank inventory will bulge with bars of gold. It is on this wishful thinking that all the money scams in the world are built. If you still live in this dream world I want to wake you up. Remember your dreams can only become reality if you back it up with huge action. The more dreamlike your dreams still are the More activity you need to take to get them going. This is the birthing phase of the creative cycle. Need I tell you that birth is a painful and laborious process.

This is the most risky part of the creative cycle. It is the part in the creative cycle where your dreams can die a still death, because you are not prepared to do the laborious act of pushing. Did you ever try to push a car all by yourself? Do you remember the great effort and willpower it took to get that car moving? Once it was keen it became a breeze. Remember with each and every dream you want to perceive there will All the time be the difficult and painful part where only sheer determination and willpower will get you through to the next phase. It is often in this birthing phase of the creative cycle that habitancy quit. I know from experience. I once set up my own folder of shares, but after two year sthe growth was minimal. I decided to quit and I sold all my shares. A month later the share market started to rise phenomenally and I missed out on it because I did not believe in my own potential to pick out winning shares. I gave up while the laborious and painful birthing process.

Very often we sabotage ourselves on the road to success, because it is at this phase of the creative cycle that our deepest fears rise to the outside of our consciousness. You will have to confront your fears if you want to be successful. Napoleon Hill talks about our six basic fears and he names them in the order of their most common appearance: The fear of poverty, of criticism, of ill-health, of loss of love, of old age, and of death. He states that our fears are nothing but states of our mind and I agree. If we do not perceive our dreams because of our fears it is our thoughts that brought us to defeat. Therefore you need to take control of your thoughts if you want to defeat your fears. How? Listen what Hill says: "Mind control is the supervene of self-discipline and habit". How do you control your mind? Stay focused on what you want and not on what you don't want. If you are riding a car and you see a tree in front of you and you fix your eyes on that obstacle where are you going to land? Obviously you are going to wrap your car around that tree. Keep your focus on your goals and take huge action.

Step 4: Build on your successes and learn from your failures!

This is the phase in the creative cycle where you have the baby in your arms. All the laborious work of creating a vision and a plan and taking huge activity is starting to pay off. You see the first fruits of your labor, but it still needs a lot of your attention. It needs permissible feeding and caring. Your success is in its infancy stage and you sometimes wonder if it ever will grow up. In order for you to keep going you need to celebrate the slightest success that you caress on the road to realizing your dreams. This is the occasion when you need to name the baby. Each baby is distinct and you need to get to know your baby and build a association with it. You will only be able to do that through experimentation. If you want to supervene you need to experiment and build on your successes and learn from your failures. In order for you to experiment you need to overcome your fear of failure.

Remember that your failures are your teachers. See all your wrong decisions and your failures as part of the learning curve. Failure often becomes a blessing in disguise. Failures often are doors to new opportunities. In the creative cycle failure is represented by winter. Winter in the time of the year just before spring. If you can rest in the winter of your failure according to the creative cycle it become the breeding ground of a new spring and an invincible summer. Keep on trying until your see growth. When you see growth continue with the actions that brought that growth and finish those who inhibits the growth of your brain child. Celebrate your successes and learn from your failures.

Step 5: Announce your success to the world!

If you believe it or not there are numerous habitancy who would like to celebrate your success with you. All of us are drawn towards the power that prosperous habitancy project except if we are jealous of their success. You will find both kinds of habitancy on your road to success. Remember when Jesus was born? King Herod wanted to kill him while the wise man from the East came to worship him. The baby of success that you brought into the world will have the same supervene on the habitancy around you. Remember there are more habitancy who would like to celebrate the birth with you than those of ill will. So be proud of your success and announce it to the world because that is the way in which you will find habitancy who would like to be your partners and assist your growth to its full potential. You need to retell your success to the world in order for it to grow. As you grow your realization to its full inherent you will need to go through the creative cycle numerous times. You will need to readjust your vision, generate a new plan, back it up with huge action, celebrate your successes, learn from your mistakes and announce your realization to the world. The creative cycle is life itself. It will never stop. We are in a constant cycle of growth and renewal. We might as well enjoy the journey. Dear to dream and be prepared to work hard but facilely in order to perceive your dream.
